Payment methods accepted include credit cards and transportation IC cards. All NewDays stores accept them, but some kiosks on train platforms may not.
Transportation IC cards are the most convenient.
Both self-checkout and staffed registers are available. Below is a self-checkout at NewDays.
Note that contactless payments with credit cards are not accepted. This includes physical cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
It is said that railway companies prioritize their own transportation IC cards over contactless credit card payments.
